first time we've been to langdale it blew us away. seriously, such beautiful small corner of lake district, surrounded by hills.. i really loved it. i am sure we will be coming back to langdale regularly.
this was our second visit. we planned to climb bowfell but i guess we just enjoyed sleep too much and when finally arrived to langdale it was late (as per our standards very late)
we left castlerigg at about 10.30 in beautiful sunshine, but after driving only a couple of miles south we found ourselves in thick mist. not good. by the time we arrived to langdale i lost all hope that we will see sun that day at all (and in keswick area we could probably sunbathe!!!)
neverming, we got over it and finally started to relax and enjoy :)
we have climbed pavey ark previously, bea via the gully and i challenged myself with jack's rake

this time we decided to climb up via gully and go further to harrison stickle.
and guess what - we were rewarded with some sun!

kiedy odwiedzilysmy langdale pierwszy raz bylam oczarowana. serio, normalnie zwalilo mnie z nog. co za piekny maly zakatek! jestem pewna ze bedziemy tam wracac wiele razy.
teraz byla to nasza druga wizyta. oryginalnie planowalysmy wejsc na bowfell, ale zdaje sie ze za bardzo grzebalysmy sie rano i w sumie dojechalysmy do langdale stosunkowo pozno (no a jak na nasze stabdardy to STRASZNIE POZNO).
wyruszylysmy z caslterigg okolo 10.30 i zaraz po przejechaniu kilku mil na poludnie znalazlysmy sie w gestej mgle.. slabo... a kiedy dojechalysmy do langdale to juz prawie calkiem stracilysmy nadzieje na zalapanie slonca tego dnia.. i ta mysl ze gdybysmy zostaly w keswick szwedalybysmy sie w sloncu.. opalaly...
no nie wazne, oporalysmy sie z tymi zalami i w koncu zaczelysmy cieszyc sie z tego gdziej jestesmy i piekna wokolo nas

at first path follows a stream with some waterfalls and fairy polls -lookalikes
na poczatku sciezka wiedzie wzdloz strumienia, sa wodospadziki i jeziorka jak w fairy pools
oh yes, we encountered mad sheep :)

path is a little rugged, very nice

sun trying hard to overcome mist / slonce staralo sie bardzo, ale mgla niestety nie ustepowala
after about 1 hr we reached stickle tarn. that was a very misty place, but with sun shining somewhere above the light was weird/atmospheric
somehow they reminded me the pinguinns of madagascar..
po okolo godzinie marszu dotarlysmy do stickle tarn. mgliscie bylo bardzo, ale przez to ze slonce cos tam probowalo, swiatlo bylo bardzo dziwne i klimatyczne
jakos mi te mewiska przypominaly pingwiny z madagaskaru..

i really enjoyed that path. it was rugged, rocky, had to use hands many times. liked it a lot.
bardzo mi sie podobala ta sciezka - byla urozmaicona, skalista, rece sie przydawaly. bardzo fajna :)
