cycling around LOCH LEVEN, fife

a shortish but very enjoyable ride around loch leven, fife.

start/finish point: the boathouse car park.

easy, good riding track throughout, signposted, traffic free!

suitable for kids, wheelchairs, great for all!

stopien trudnosci jest znikomy, cala droge sciezka jest bardzo dobra, szeroka, jasno oznaczona

nadaje sie na wypad z dzieciakami jak rowniez z osoba na wozku inwalidzkim.

jednym slowem - super dla wszystkich :)

oh, there is a cafe there, use the tunnel underneath the road :)

nawet jest po drodze kafejka, do ktorej mozna dostac sie tunelem (pod glowna droga)

the track takes us thru the fields, woodland, a little swampy marshland...

ST.MONANS & ELIE revisited

actually two visits to st monans and one to elie :) 

st monans which seems to be a great place to dig deep into scotland's geological past, as well as to experiment with long exposure times

and anyway, i wanted to have some 'proper' photos of that pier too

just a few pictures from another nice fishing village in fife - elie.

this one i like more than the others, it has some atmosphere to it. the harbour is more like 'adopted beach', there is a small tower as well as 'chain walk' nearby. at low tide there is a magnificent beach
