isle of mull, day 3- way back to catch a ferry from craignure

after great time at calgary bay we had to move a little bit faster to drive back to craignure to catch a ferry to oban. most of the way back we had great views to ben more and loch na'keal, and some to ulva too. we also had a 'cow experience' in the meantime...

po przyplynieciu do oban stwierdzilysmy ze zasluzylysmy na porzadny obiad przed 3 godzinna jazda do domu. bea miala talerz pelen roznych ryb (mniam) a ja wzielam talerz owocow morza - krab, ostrygi, langusty, przegrzebek i wedzony losos (mniam mniam!) ostrygi mnie zaskoczyly - sa mieciutkie, nie smierdza i maja delikatny, nieintensywny smak (uff, bo troszke sie cykalam ich jesc)

after landing in oban we decided we deserved a good dinner before our further journey to edinburgh. bea ordered fish platter (yummy!) and i went for seafood platter with crab, scallops, langoustinnes, oysters and smoked salmon. that was BRILLIANT. thanks goodness the oysters were nice, i was actually pretty scared of trying them, but they were nice, soft, non-stinky with very delicate flavour.

wczesna pobodka na plazy w uisken, sniadanie po drodze w pennyghael. na parking w dhiseig dojechalysmy okolo 10. w skrocie - na szczescie nie wialo tak jak poprzedniego dnia, ale w razie czego postanowilysmy wejsc na ben more latwiejszym szlakiem i w zaleznosci od warunkow, ewentualnie zejsc trudniejszym - przez gran a'chioch. warunki sprzyjaly tak wiec zeszlysmy od trudniejszej strony. wrazenia wspaniale, ekscytacja totalna, ta trasa nakrecila mnie jeszcze bardziej na zdobywanie szkockich munrosow, i pale sie wrecz do tego aby zdobywac wiecej 'lekko wspinaczkowych' gor. moja ulubiona szkocka gora do tej pory :)

isle of mull, day 2, BEN MORE

we left uisken quite early, had a breakfast in pennyghale and arrived to dhiseig car park about 10am. to make the story short - weather conditions were much better than on previous day therefore we decided to bag the munro. just in case we walked up following the easy track and if conditions up are good enough we would descent via a'chioch & the arete. and indeed we did descent the difficult way. it was absolutely great, full excitement, awesome views and that feeling that we achieved something. that totally turned me on for climbing rocky mountains with scrambling and all that :) so far, ben more is my fav scottish mountain, first chance i have, i'm back there.

szczyt. wiekszosc ludzi wracala ta sama droga, czyli latwiejsza sciezka / the summit. majority of walkers came back the same way, the easy track.

ok, zaczelysmy schodzic do grani. ostro bylo, stromo. musialysmy troche uskutecznic 'dupozjezdzanie'. czasem byla sciezynka a czasem tylko po skalach w dol / ok, the descent begins. it was tough sometimes, pretty steep. at some places we had to 'bum-slide' down on the rocks, at some places there was a faint path
