QUIRAING TO FLODIGARRY

again, one of those 'isle of skye classic' walks

again, this is at least 3rd or 4th time we visited quiraing, but still we are enchanted by this magical and unique landslip.

this time instead of walking back to the 'viewpoint car park' we continued further down to flidigarry. i guess we have already walked this area in all possible ways and variations, so here's what we think:

we recommend seeing this unique place from the top of cliff and come back to the car park via 'prison'

path from the first lochan down to flodigarry is rather boring, wet and un-eventful, so we wouldnt bother with this bit.

kolejny 'klasyk' wyspy skye

quiraing, wizyta trzecia czy czwarta juz, ale wiecie, co.. wciaz nam sie podoba - miejsce ma klimat, magie i jest bardzo interesujace z geologicznego punktu widzenia.

tym razem, dla odmiany zamiast wracac spowrotem na parking przy punkcie widokowym, poszlysmy dalej, do flodigarry.

zdaje sie ze przeszlysmy i zwiedzilysmy quiraing na wszystkie mozliwe sposoby wiec oto co myslimy:

zdecydowanie polecamy zobaczenie quiraing z klifu i potem powrot na larking przez 'prison'

sciezka w strone frodigarry, od pierwszego jeziorka jest blotnista, nudna i nieciekawa wiec na pewno nie bedziemy sie tu juz platac

zawsze tu wieje!

DINO FOOTPRINTS HUNTING @ staffin

short visit to staffin beach, in search of dinosaur footprints.

successful :)

so, how to get there? turn towards the sea just before staffin (coming from the south), signpost 'so the beach'. after about 5 mins drive you will arrive to a car park with information board (with dino footprints sign), it's there. if you get as far as the jetty, turn back, it's only 200 yards away

oh, yes, you need low tide as well :)

no wiec jak je znalezc? zaraz przed staffin (jadac od poludnia) nalezy skrecic w strone morza, jest drogowskaz 'to the beach'. po okolo 10 min jazdy docieracie do parkingu z tablica informacyjna (i rysunkiem odcisku stopy dinozaura). to tu.

jesli przegapiliscie i dojechaliscie az do konca (malutkiej przystani) zawroccie, jestescie jakies 200m za daleko

aha, slady zobaczycie tylko podczas odplywu
